This is a 10” caramel cake with cream cheese buttercream and gum paste flowers. The filling is tinted B/C – not even the parents-to-be know which color yet! The family will find out tonight when they slice into the cake.

Pumpkin Pecan Cake with Pecan Pie Filling, carved and covered in white chocolate fondant over cream cheese buttercream. Yum.

Sugared grapes and fondant/gum past vines and leaves make this a perfect cross cake for a church fellowship or first communion.

Red velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream and fondant shells. The wedding took place on the beach, then everyone walked a half-block to the condo where the reception took place. No one seemed to mind the sand that had blown onto the cake (except me – I was horrified!).

A little tie dye, some flower power, the requisite peace symbols, and our truckin’ hero.

Every month I bake for my friend’s book club. This month’s selection was Stephen King’s 11/22/63, where much of the story revolved around Al’s Diner, “Home of the Famous Fatburger”. These are vanilla cookies with a fudge “patty”, fondant lettuce-tomato-cheese, and shortbread “fries”.
