This was another little display cake made for a food fayre I attended mid March. I found the ribbon and loved it so took it home to make a catch to match.

These were an order from a class of 7 year old boys for their head teacher who is leaving them this week. Mixed interest and they wished to have all the boys names, luckily there were only 12 in the class!

I have made these before, but loved making them again for this food fayre. I originally used a ballerina tutorial from Lillys cupcakes which I tweaked a little to incorporate the princess theme.

Deep chocolate mud cake with chocolate buttercream filling. The dogs go all round the cake and there is a sled (unseen) at the back too. I was given a photograph of Mel’s dogs (Two Alaskan Malamutes, a white GSD and a black GSD) and asked to model the dogs on these.
All hand made and hand cut with an Alaskan theme.
I had inspiration for this cake from a photo I found on google search of the most amazing Alaskan themed wedding cake. I don’t know who it belonged to but it was stunning.
