I could give you a long story on how I was born in Brooklyn N.Y., moved to Puerto Rico in time to begin the fifth grade and moving back to Brooklyn at the age of 19. I could go on and on and entertain you with a long story of having kids at a young age, meeting my prince charming after failed relationships, becoming an E.M.T. which began my whole professional career by encouraging me to pursue and graduate with a Bachelors, than a Master’s degree while raising my three children (not alone I had my prince charming by my side the whole time) and working a full time job. Wait, did I mention and buying a home on Long Island. Nope, I will not bore you with those kind of details. What I will tell you is that I happened to fall into this cake decorating thing by accident. You see I was bored, my kids, well basically they take care of themselves now, and so I really needed a hobby. I decided, hey why not take a Wilton's cake decorating class at Michael’s Crafts store. Signed up with my sis and needless to say, it all began with a rainbow cake. After three 2 ½ hour classes I continued to learn on my own. No I did not go to culinary school (I wish, school loans suck) but I watch a hell of a lot of cake decorating and baking shows. I hope I didn’t bore you, now go ahead get your cake on.
