Hi! I love baking but my passion is cake & cookie decorating. I learned how to decorate cakes in high school, at that time buttercream was the way to decorate cakes. I intended to go to a culinary school to become a pastry chef but unfortunately I wasn't able to. I spent the last 15 years working in an office environment which is not my idea of fun but it paid the bills. I was recently laid off due to the company relocating to another state so I've been home these past few months dusting off my pastry bags and cake pans! I've only experimented once with fondant (Wilton course) so I'm anxious to learn more and hopefully one day get really good at it. I've also started decorating sugar cookies with royal icing about a year ago and I'm very passionate about it although I am still learning. :)
