Mason celebrated his 6th birthday last month. and wanted a superhero cake.
His favourite superhero at the moment is The Hulk, and then Captain America.
But he did say that soon Captain America would be No 1 and then Hulk, because Captain America has a cool shield…lol!!

Baileys White Choc Mud Cake layered and covered with White Choc ganache, with fondant decorations and topper.

They didn’t want it covered in fondant so that was a nice change, and suited the theme of the cake well.

Birdcage Cake made for my Mums birthday.

This was a 6” cake, and was over 10” tall!!!

I wasn’t intending it to turn out this big, but it turned out to be on the large size, and to think I brought a dummy cake because I didn’t think it was going to be tall enough…..have no idea what I was thinking!!
Before I put on the decorations I was not loving this cake at all, but when it was finished it grew on me.
Would love to do another one…but on a much smaller scale.

Bottom was Baileys White Chocolate Mud, middle and dome were Red Velvet cake, and all were layered and filled with white choc ganache.

My 5yr old sons review – “Cool mum, looks like a rocket ship landed in the garden” !!!!!

The cake is White Choc Mud cake with White Choc ganache and the turrets are made from Lolly Cake.

This cake was decorated for a work colleague/friends 2nd wedding anniversary.
The cake was made by another one of her friends (Choc fruit cake) and I did the ganache and decorations.
Natalie didn’t know what decorations she wanted and as they are dairy farmers, I went with a cow theme.
