When the cake gods get ANGRY!
So my work mate asked me to make an engagement cake for her freind.The cake marble mud cake. Great, then she sent me the photo, another cake based on the gorgeous cake by Inspired By Michelle Designs! I only hoped I could do it justice. Ribbon loops, fairly easy, crystals I can get them. Clearly the Cake Gods were against me from the start! Firstly I had an angry cake that came out of the oven! Dont matter I will make you PRETTY!! Then disaster, no black fondant at my local suplliers..how am I going to make a black and white cake without BLACK!!! If I try to colour it I’ll end up with grey EWWW…luckily I tried another brand of fondant in black…never used it bef...
