Another cake I made for Valentine’s day. Really enjoyed making the cake toppers and their intricate face expressions. :)

A cake topper for a Chicago Bears fan. His girlfriend was surprising him with tickets to the game for his birthday and wanted me to recreate him wearing the jersey and holding the tickets.

A three-tiered gold and maroon-themed wedding cake. I tried the rose bases from Wilton for the first time and they worked great!

I made this cake for my mother who flew all the way from Texas to spend Mother’s day with me!

This cake was for a friend’s wedding rehearsal dinner. The bride and groom met at the University of Wisconsin and wanted their cake to have the mascot on it. So this is what I came up with.

Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. There are 60 roses on the bouquet that took about 6 hours to make but it was worth it!

I made this custom cake topper for a couple getting married this weekend. The bride’s dress was based off of her actual wedding dress. The groom loves hockey – so he requested that I make a hockey stick and him wearing his favorite Yankees hat.

I was asked to recreate the dome and statue of Mary from the University of Notre Dame. I got the dimensions a little off (Mary looks way bigger in proportion to the dome) but overall, it was a fun cake to make. :)

This was a birthday cake for one of our dear friends’ daughter – Lily. I bet you’re wondering where Oscar’s trash can is. Sadly, as I was putting the characters on the cake, the silver gumpaste trash can slipped from my hands and shattered into a million pieces. It was a sad day.

This was another cake inspired by my daughter’s dress. The flower started as a peony- but as you can see it was a terrible fail – so I just call it a “fantasy flower”. ;)

This cake was inspired by my daughter’s dress – this was the first time I made ruffles and they didn’t turn out as neat as I wanted- I need lots more practice! But it was fun! Hope you guys like it. :)
