I seem to be getting a lot of requests for multi-discipline cakes at the moment!

This time it is 3 in one and the cake has a replica of the gentleman’s canoe, his trainers, his running vest and his guitar. The reference to Nepal relates to him going walking there shortly.

And the Guess? Well who can tell me what the music is wrapped around the cake?

Everything on the cake is edible except the sign post (and that was because it had a long journey and I didn’t want the person collecting the cake to fret about it breaking en route!).

This lucky gentleman was getting tickets to major sporting events for his birthday: England vs Australia in Rugby and Cricket and also World Snooker, so these formed the theme for the cake design.

The brief really lent itself to 2 cakes, but the customer’s budget didn’t stretch to that at all, so, on a 6” round cake I performed as near to magic as I could!

On the top and one ‘face’ of the cake it celebrated Kirsty’s 16th birthday and on the reverse it celebrated her brother’s engagement!

So, depending on where you sat at dinner was which cake you got to enjoy the view of!

It is not perfect, but almost there!

For a gentleman who has a variety of hobbies and his cake was to depict them all. For me it felt like decorating 4 cakes in 1, hence the title!

The signpost was to depict the favourite locations of each of his hobbies.

Everything is edible except in the bulrush leaves there is wire and also in the signpost and hole marker post for golf there are cocktail sticks for strength as the cake was being driven some distance to the party.

Not the usual type of design for a ‘Sweet 16’ cake, but this young lady is an Olympic hopeful from the Team GB Junior Rifle squad – watch this name in years to come!

The cake has a much enlarged version of one of her targets on, with 3 air rifle pellets and the Gold medal, of course! All elements are edible, including the cake ribbon and bow.

Evie requested a silvery-green coloured snake. I have never made a snake cake but had great fun making this fantasy one, complete with the camouflage foliage! The ‘soil’ id crumbled chocolate cake.

Chosen by William as the theme for his birthday cake. The penguins represent William’s family and if you look very closely, the front left penguin representing his brother, has been hit by a snowball, thrown by William high up on the snow covered rock!

This, I hope, is the last snow I see until winter 2013 – here in the UK it has been a very long & drawn out winter!

This cake was inspired by a design from Royal Bakery.
It is a chocolate cake baked in a bowl, topped with RKT for the head. I made this for my husband’s birthday that has fallen on Easter Day this year.

This is for a little lad who loves Ben 10, Star Wars and Batman. Trying to incorporate them all in one design that didn’t look cluttered or disjointed was not easy, but I hope you think I achieved it!

Yoda is totally edible, as is the Batman logo and everything else on the cake.

For a lovely lady who’s favourite shoes areTed Baker & these were inspired from a pair of those and whose handbag is from Mulberry and this one was inspired from that brand.

This is my first ever shoe, first ever shoebox, first ever handbag, and first ever RKT modelling. This is all totally edible (except from a tiny bit of wire hidden in the fondant buckle.) I used the tutorial from Shereen’s Cakes & Bakes for the shoe and the rest was from trial & error!

How to make acake for someone who has a huge passion for this hobby patchwork sewing cake in a Christmas theme was a challenge….
Everything is edible & no spaghetti was used!

Made for a Scrabble mad lady to celebrate her 90th birthday.
The board is a full board with all the annotation for scoring and all the letters are with their score. the whole game is edible so you could play and then eat !

This was my second version

A totally edible trinket box that fits £2 coins or folded notes or lottery tickets or rings or cufflinks.etc. It could also be a novel alternative to the Xmas cracker.

I plan to put it on top of a cupcake in a single cake box and put money in it for my niece for Xmas. The pattern is printed & I made it myself; any pattern is possible as long as I can manipulate it on the PC

It could also be adapted for wedding favours etc….

A late request for a Tetris fan…..!

This was for my son’s party – he was having a Paintball party.

The paintball ‘gun’ has 007 on it, in recognition of the recent Bond movie he has been to see & loved.

When he cut the cake he saw the surprise inside – ‘wow – that’s cool’ – I think was the phrase used! I attempted my first ever go at colouring sponge and tried the camouflage colours out. (Sugarflair colours are fab for this, I hope you will agree!)

My friend’s boy and girl twins were celebrating their birthday last week. The girl in particular likes Jack Wills and the colours lend themselves just fine to a cake for a boy and girl. Elisha is a brown belt in Karate and Callum an Army Cadet and mum wanted figures of them both.

The detail picture shows the figures a little better, but I must admit my photography skills leave a lot to be desired!
