This is a month of very girly cakes for me! I did love making this Tiara :-)

A 2 Tier cinderella carriage cake this time, bottom layer with an edible lace border. Carriage design inspired by a design from Gimme some sugar. Lots of sparkle you just cant see on the photo.

Handmade Minnie on a pink spottty cake. I was a bit hesitant to make her as it really has to be perfect to get the right look…Mostly happy with it :-)

This is the cake I made for our family get together today, rainbow vanilla cake soaked in a little vanilla syrup covered in natural strawberry swiss meringue ruffled buttercream (YUM!). Fiddly to make but a joy to cut up to see the colours inside :-)

Toilets/plumber, fishing, golf, cricket, Collingwood footy club, Swans footy club and Newcastle United were the mandate for this cake…Lots of elements to incorporate in one cake, challenging and super fun to make.

A small Nightmare before Christmas cake for a friend’s daughter who is obsessed with the movie. The hill is made from marshmallow rice crispies and the base is a choc mud. I loved making this cake so much I didnt want to hand it over :-)

Not a new design by any measure, this cake has been done many times around the traps before – originally a Debbie Brown design I believe. Client supplied picture of what she wanted this cake to look like. Vanilla cake with white chocolate ganache. Super fun to make!!

A non traditional wedding cake with bikini clad bride and groom requested by the bride, everything handmade and edible by me, except for bridal trim/diamante veil. Fiddly but totally fun to make!
