This was a Christmas cake for one of my husbands workmates. I always try to send him samples of my baking and he does love my fruit cake. I will be honest and say that I have no Idea what the piping means, i was just asked to put it on there! I had to add the snowflakes to make it a little Chrismassy!

I made this cake for my husbands parents. By the time I was finished I was sick of the sight of Holly leaves. I was happy with the result though.

I made this cake for my sisters 21st Birthday. It was the first time i had used photo’s on a cake. She loved it.

This was my sisters birthday cake. She loves Tattoos and had this one designed just for her. It definately helped improve my piping skills and she loved it!

This was my second attempt at a 3D cake, I don’t think it’s really my forte! I had a nightmare with this one. The first cake fell to pieces and so I had to make the cake and decorate it in 7hours before it was due to be dropped off!! The people who had the cake though said it was great and tasted amazing – they’ve asked for more so it can’t be that bad!
I did learn alot making this cake though so good things did come from it – as well as a few grey hairs!

This was a last minute 1st anniversary cake for my husband. He is into steampunk and it was something I had never attempted on a cake before.

This was just a practice at tiering cakes. It was also my first attempt at wired flowers and leaves. I was quite impressed with myself!
