For this little guy’s first birthday, his parents requested The Very Hungry Caterpillar who is resting atop the cake. On the main cake is a free-hand painted butterfly from the book… the smash cake is buttercream, and the cupcakes have fruit from the book (made with white modeling chocolate/fondant), with little holes in them.

Smash Cakes

Birdcage cake for my two students (I teach ballroom dancing), who love their two-toned canaries. I made ballroom dancing figures to go alongside the cake, but this shot was taken before they were added. Chocolate cake with ganache filling.

Created to match the wedding invitations, these toppers and monograms are made of thin black fondant.

Blue to White Ombre with Red Ruffled Flower

I had two graduates to celebrate with this cake, each from different schools. Each turtle’s tassel on their cap as well as their “neck Jewelry” reflect what each graduate wore during their ceremony. The book titles reflect the fields they are going to be studying in college. Cake Truffles with diplomas to match are off to the side. Thanks for taking a look!
