Hello everyone! My name is Esperanza Mendez, but my friends & family call me Espie for short. I have always had a passion for baking and a creative mind to complement it, however as a mother, wife, and worker time was never on my side. I started honing in on the art of cake making about four years ago after my daughter had taken up cake decoration classes for fun. I have attended several different cake schools and conventions and have studied under some of the best artist in the baking world. Little by little I have built up my skill and my clientele. Growing up I always had a passion for creating things and working with my hands, and now as an adult cake decorating gives me that outlet for creativity once again.
