SOme cupcakes for a wall climbing party this weekend – I chopped pieces of marshmallow and added to the buttercream to get a lumpy wall effect.

A birthday cake for a joint sleepover party – vanilla sponge and buttercream with strawberry jam and cotton candy flavoured icing and bottom tier with bubblegum flavoured decorations.

Made for my in-laws wedding anniversary last weekend this cake features individual ‘embroidery’ shapes that have been lustre dusted and placed onto an ivory iced cake – sugar hand made flowers in ‘Golden Wedding’ colours top the cake.

This was my other entry to the Squires competition here in the UK – I also got commended for this.

I dont usually do flowers – this is probably only my third or fourth wired flower cake. But it was requested as the flowers were to be kept as a memento.

This was my entry to Squires Kitchen Exhibition (UK) this weekend – I got Commended, which I was pleased with. Everything had to be hand modelled – no moulds impression mats or cutters allowed (apart from flowers) so everything is freehand modelled including the butterfly and key.

Cake designed around paper plate/napkins for a first birthday party. So fun to do, lovely and bright!

My other cake this weekend takes you into my neighbours front room where she is catching 40 winks in front of the fire with her three cats. I even took sneaky pictures of her front room to get the wallpaper right :-)

I have come to the conclusion that Angry Birds cakes come along like buses as never having been asked to make one until January this year I then get another one to make less than a month later! Great fun.

My first wedding cake this year pretty in pink lustre dusted butterflies crowd around the four Victoria sandwich tiers filled with raspberry jam and buttercream. Hope they had a lovely day.

Hand carved cat cake – this was the first cat cake I made.

I had never heard of Jake and the Neverland Pirates before this cake – I have now! I enjoyed making this it was a great colourful and fun cake to make!
