I caught the cake decorating bug 6 months ago after my first attempt at a Christmas Rudolph cake. Poor Rudolph didn't stand a chance at turning out right with me at the helm! So, my husband bought me a day course in fondant as a late cheer me up gift.
As I'm still on maternity leave, it's lovely to have found a new hobby that hopefully I can turn into a business with some more practice. In the mean time, I'm baking for friends and family and enjoying eating lots of cakes, before I go back to teaching.
