This cake, with cupcakes, was for a young man celebrating his 8th birthday. I was a bit surprised to see (via a picture on FB) that there was a second WWE RAW cake at the party as well—with my cupcakes surrounding that cake! The mom told me that her son loved the cake I made for him, but, still my mind can’t help but wonder if she was saying it to be polite. I am still proud of this cake.

This was a last minute cake request for a beautiful young lady celebrating her “Sweet 15” party. The cake and cupcakes are all vanilla bean with fresh strawberries and buttercream filling and frosting. The aunt (who ordered the cake) did not want to provide me the name of the young lady. :(

But, the birthday girl love her cake nevertheless!

This is a small baby shower cake, 6”. I’ve been slowly trying my hand at icing a cake with buttercream instead of fondant (which I prefer). I made all the decorations out of fondant.

This was actually an easy cake to make. The cake was for a three year old—the little boy even dressed up as the character Chavo—too cute! I couldn’t find the action figures so I drew them on gumpaste and colored them with food coloring markers. The barrel is made out of rice krispie treats.

The cake and cupcakes were all dark chocolate with vanilla buttercream and fresh peach and strawberry filling.

The inspiration/springboard I used to design this cake and cupcakes (Chavo head and shirt) were from two fabulous decorators: Cakes B&G and Pastelicious.

This is my first time sculpting a shoe cake. The birthday boy’s mom gave me free rein to decorate the cake any way I wished. It turned out better than I expected. The shoe is a cake (that feeds 12-15 peope) and so is the box (feeds 25 people).

I am not posting this as one of my best cakes (in my personal opinion) because it suffered an accident and then a save. I was on my way to deliver the cake, and a big bam! an accident. It toppled my giant cupcake and shifted my little smash cake. I had to scrap some of the decorations to “fix” the cake and carefully shift the little cake back in place. Ugh…not too happy with the outcome but the customer loved it. It is what it is.

This was a small Mickey Mouse birthday cake (6”) for a little guy turning 2 years old. He loved the cake—especially the cupcakes. My daughter’s favorite decoration was Mickey’s tail while I was especially proud of the cupcakes—they turned out really, really cute.

This has to be the most “funnest” cake I ever made! The cake is the table itself; I made the snake (and it’s jewelry), mini-cake w/stand on table, bat balloons, lip balloons, heart balloons. the tiles on the floor (each tile was cut separately and attached to the base board), and candelabra base out of fondant/gum-tex. The candelabra is actually a candle holder (neat, huh?) so it worked well with this cake!

Hello Kitty giant cupcake cake (and cupcakes) were made for my niece’s 4th birthday. Everything on the cake and cupcakes are edible (except the wires, dowels, and rings). As always, I have a blast creating children’s cakes.

This cake was made for a beautiful little lady named Jessica! Everything on the cake is edible—except for Abby Cadabby. I made each of the characters on the cake (Elmo, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert, and Oscar the Grouch) and everything else seen on the cake. As always, I enjoy making children’s cakes—they are so colorful and so magical.

I made this cake for an adorable 2 year old. Everything on the cake and cupcakes are edible. The Minnie Mouse hat is made of RKT—I used a mortar and pestal bowl to form the hat. This was a fun cake to make!

I made this cake (and cupcakes) for my daughter’s wedding. She wanted a single cake and cupcakes. This was my first “real” wedding cake, so I was very nervous about making sure it was as beautiful as she expected. She loved it! Whew!!!

Everything on the cake is handmade and edible (except the cake topper sign).

These cupcakes were for a surprise quinceanera party. The color theme was silver and white. I made a total of 72 cupcakes in Vanilla Bean, Very Strawberry, and Tres Leches flavors. Everything on the cupcakes are edible and handmade/cut by me.

This was a really, really fun cake to make. So many colors! Every decoration on the cake is edible (minus the dowel rods and kite wire).

Rainbow Dash (quick story on her “birth”): The birthday girl’s favorite little pony is Rainbow Dash—I could not find that little pony to save my life! So, the night before delivery of the cake, I hand drew Rainbow Dash on dried gumpaste, and used a food coloring marker to draw and color the pony. It turned out pretty good considering I decided to draw the pony @ 1:00 a.m. My greatest satisfaction was the smile on the birthday girl’s face when she saw her cake…priceless!! That’s why I love what I do (even though it is p/t since I have a f/t time).

I made this small cake for my mom’s birthday. Everything on the cake is edible (even the little picture frame!). As always, had alot of fun making this special cake.

I made this cake for my niece’s baptism. The cake is all vanilla with buttercream filling. The entire cake is edible. I handmade the roses without the use of a pattern or cutters. The little angel on the crucifix is a replica of a porcelain cake topper—I made her out of fondant and attached her to my fondant-cut crucifix.

This was another fun cake to decorate! It’s simple but I thought less is more especially considering the occasion.

I made this cake for my cousin’s baby shower (her first baby). I used the baby shower invitation and party decor for the colors and the train. The cake was white chocolate with fresh strawberries and buttercream. Red Velvet matching cupcakes completed the cake set.

Birthday cake for a cute little 3 year old. This cake was special to me because Britney’s grandparents moved to Bolivia about 1 month ago and she hasn’t been taking the change very well. For the cupcakes I used Hello Kitty rings as the toppers because, you know, a little girl’s Hello Kitty party isn’t the same without some girly jewelry to wear!

I handmade/drewthe Hello Kitty face. Everything on the cake is edible—except the cupcake rings.

This was a 1st Birthday cake for a beautiful little lady. I made her baby shower cake last year, and now I had the honor of making her 1st birthday cake. The cake is a white chocolate cake with fresh raspberries and buttercream. The little chick cake was the birthday girl’s smash cake! I had a lot of fun making this cake.

I made this baby shower cake for my daughter. It’s my first grandchild and my parent’s first great-great grandchild. The baby shower theme was Tiffany elegance.
