Buttercream and Royal icing stencil. Gumpaste bow and flowers

Ever since I saw this design on gateaux’s gallery I have wanted to make it! Thank You for the great designs! Finally a friend said her little girl just wanted something girly and for me to pick!!! :) My buttercream gave me problems but Im not too worried about it. Its a 4,6,8. Buttercream, fondant, and gumpaste. Thanks for looking!

First time using a stencil. Kind of hard on a round cake but very happy with the results. Client (thankfully) said to do whatever I wanted! Hopefully more wedding cakes come my way :) Fondant with royal icing stencil, gumpaste roses, hydrangeas and bow.The snowflake crystal came from a rubber band I bought from the grocery store!

Gumpaste ranunculus, roses, hydrangeas, and peonies. Attached with white chocolate. The top flowers are stuck into a fondant covered styrofoam.

Before I wanted to take wedding orders I had to prove to myself that I could do it. So here was my first wedding cake. Fondants a little iffy but the gumpaste orchids are individually wired and I think came out great.

This cake was the reason I started doing cakes for other people! I checked out a local cake shop and was quoted $400! I thought,’I bet I could do this…’ and here we are, a year and a half later :)

My friend just didnt want an all pink cake. So I think this is still feminine with out being all pink.
