The request was for a 2 tier cake with name blocks and Dumbo on top. That’s all!

Most dumbo cakes I have seen have him in his circus outfit so I wanted to do baby dumbo instead for something different.

As this is quite a plain model I had to prettify the cake a bit so got carried away with ruffles and cornelli lace piping.

Had the most wonderful email from Annabelle’s mum that evening, really made my day :-)

Made for my little boy’s Godmother, and one of my best friends.
She loves Boofle and buttons so I just had to combine the two!
All edible and handmade by me :-)

The flowers are hand painted and I used a button mould for the buttons.

This was my entry into Cake International London 2013.
The category was sculpted novelty cake. Cake and all decorations to be edible and no internal supports used.
The cheese is fruit cake, mouse sculpted from Chocolate paste and sugarpaste.

Pleased to have won a bronze award :-)

A Surprise birthday cake for my 12 year old daughter who loves drama and music.
Tiers are chocolate orange, vanilla and marble cake.
The mask is made from gumpaste with brush embroidery in royal icing then airbrushed.
Cornelli lace piping on the top tier.
Ruffle petals on the second tier.

This is my umpteenth Moshi cake, and I had free reign on this one and got a bit carried away!
What was supposed to be a large single tier cake with a few moshi monsters on turned out to be a two tier cake with a giant moshi!
I had such wonderful feedback on this one, brough a tear to my eye!
All the models are made from fondant and the bottom tier has been airbrushed to give a cloud effect

Cupcakes for my Valentines Collection

I was honoured to produce this cake for a home coming of a Royal Marine, all edible and hand made, no moulds involved!

A completely self indulgent design based on the steampunk theme. When googling Steampunk all the cakes were bronze, deep red, brown leather effect.
I fell in love with the accents and burlesque hints within the clothing and time pieces and wanted to create a wedding cake which was simple but stunning and not ‘normal’ for the theme.
A different take on Steampunk, adding in lily of the valley to represent feathers and lace to represent brass buckles.
Would love to know your views on this…......................?
