A little demo cake I made in class while teaching students to make roses and ganache and cover a square. We used the same techniques I have shared in my Large Rose tutorial and Ganaching a Square tutorial here on CakesDecor :)

Carved sphere – caramel mud cake and choc caramel ganache.

A trio of cakes for a couple who LOVE Orla Kiely’s designs. Their request was that the cakes look like they had been “wallpapered”- such fun!

First time using RKT- in the head and arms, the rest of the figure is chocolate mud cake, ganached and covered with fondant.

Mud cake and scupting choc over a custom built acrylic frame. Wings are gumpaste over a floral wire frame. Colours were chosen by the bride and groom for thier gothic wedding! Dragon sits on a 20” round board.

Carved from two 6 1/2 inch stacked choc mudcakes – customised with little edible fascinator for a themed birthday celebration.
