Costing a cool S$5.3Million including taxes to put on our roads, this is one of the most expensive and the current record holder for the fastest car in the world!

Cake Over Heels is proud to have played a small part in this occasion with the commission of this cake. Hand built… just like the real car, but at a fraction of the cost…lol

Taking inspiration from British colonial heritage and the Caribbean tropics, we conjured up a triple-tiered Tahitian vanilla buttercake with lychee filling, smoothed with Earl Grey butter cream and covered in black-and-white fondant. The design reflects old English architecture, in particular the angular and circular designs of colonial-style grilles. The charming fondant orchids, Singapore’s national flower, are an additional tropical familiarity.
