I made this cake for two sweet little girls for their party at the Louisiana Children’s Museum. Three tiered White Almond Sour Cream cake with Vanilla Butter-cream icing and everything covered in White Modeling Chocolate. Alot of fun to make and looks like it was a big hit!

80’s Dance Party themed cake. Cassette tapes and Teen Beat mag from gumpaste, airbrushed and added edible images. Cake is WASC with pureed strawberry filling and Almond buttercream under MMF. So much fun to make this one!!

Army Tank cake. This one was a challenge, but I loved doing it. I saw an army tank on “PinkCakeBox.com” and it was so darn cute, that I just had to try it to make one similar. Thank you PCB for posting this photo and video! My nephew is going to love this. WASC cake with strawberry filling and Swiss Vanilla Buttercream icing.

This was my third fondant covered cake and the second one that was a paid order. Just starting out in this business, but really loving the challenges and the end results. Don’t think it’s coming along all that well and then in the end I’m pretty happy with it, especially when I deliver it and the customer loves it!!

So much fun making this one. This is my first 3D cake and it was a bear, but I loved it. I used the real doll rather than a pic-doll. I heard the little girl loved it, wish I could have seen her face! Doing a Hello Kitty today and hoping making the fondant figurines will prove a bit easier this time :). Delivery for Saturday, so leaving myself some goof-up time!

My dad threw me a surprise 50th birthday party, but he blew the surprise and asked me to make my own cake! LOL I’ve only been doing cakes for 4 months and starting getting paid for them about 5 weeks ago and have had 4 orders now!! It’s so exciting. This is my first tiered cake and was so much fun!
